Great! Switched to these from Van Der Hagen at the recommendation of a friend at work. What a difference! They are sharp but I have coarse hair so despite being sharper they actually cut me way less. I’ve been using these for about 3 or 4 days now and don’t have one cut to speak of yet!Now to get rid of my other Van Der Hagen junk. Already replaced my VDH shave soap with Gentleman Jon Sandalwood, that’s a night and day difference too!

Sharp. Really, really sharp. If you LOVE a sharp blade and don’t have sensitive skin, look no further. These are your weapon of choice. Out of the box, these are probably the sharpest DE blades you can buy. They cut tough hair like a hot knife through butter. BUT if you do have sensitive skin, or you prefer the feel of a smooth blade, give these a miss. They are reasonably smooth on the first shave. After that (when the coating wears off) they can be pretty harsh.

After reading some reviews the same seemed to be the best option for replacement blades Initially I was using a straight razor from Target along with the blades that came with it. After reading some reviews the same seemed to be the best option for replacement blades. I can’t disagreee. I had to shave all the time while I was in the Army, and while I was in I tried a multitude of disposabale blades. None of them gave me as good a shave as these blades. I highly recommend them. I also bought the blade storage container to dispose of used blades in, and I have been impressed…
