Would definitely recommend! These gel pads are such an improvement over the foam ones. The foam ones tend to get hard after use, and also deteriorate. So far, I have seen none of that with the gel pads. They are also very comfortable to wear. Also, the gel pads have a “built-in” strap for over-the-toe, whereas the foam ones have an elastic strap which is glued on one end and goes through a small slit to hold it on, so you have to be careful not to let it slip out when taking it off or on, because it is a pain to…
A wonderful and indispensable addition to dealing with hammertoe. This product proved indispensable in dealing with an annoying number two hammertoe. The joints are mobile, but the tendons and capsule contracted. The toe can be pulled straight, but when released, contracts again. This interferes with the normal ambulation pattern which requires 5 straight toes during one phase of gait to ripple weight bearing from the little to the great toe.
