Very small. This is a very small hand mirror. The 8 5/8″ is the entire length of the including the handle. The mirror would be okay for traveling.
Way smaller than expected I was looking for a standard sized hand held mirror. I read the description to this item which says 8 5/8″ medium handheld mirror. So I thought it was exactly what I was looking for. However when I received it 2 days later it was tiny!It would be great for traveling bc it’s so small. Just what I needed Perfect size for traveling. Easy to tuck in my backpack. I grease up and pomp my hair and comb an old school duck’s ass in the back. A second mirror is needed. This one is about half the size of the one that a barber usually has you hold to show you the back of your head. Mine came black, plastic handle seems sturdy.
