GREAT BRUSH FOR CURLY HAIR! I have shoulder length curly, thick hair and this brush does the trick. I thought I needed a larger barrel because my old brush that I wore out is a bit larger, but this workes great to grab the hair and it left a little curl versus completely straightening the hair out.
