Better shave than the 7 series, doesn’t irritate my skin Initially I wasn’t sure how to feel about this electric shaver. This is my third Braun shaver; I previously used the 5 series and then the 7 series. When I first started using this 9 series shaver, it didn’t cut well; I still had a lot of stray hairs and had to use a manual razor. The shaver feels a lot better than the 7 series that used to leave my face red from irritation however it wasn’t cutting as well. Great for thick facial hair. I love this razor! I have thick facial hair and I have tried many electrics in the past and this is by far the best. It is pricey, but when you’ve been shaving thick hair for decades it is worth the cost. If your facial hair is not that thick you would probably be fine with a lower cost model from this line, but I have not tried them so I can’t be 100% sure on that.
