Does not stay hot So upset about this purchase. I used it the day it arrived and it was fine. Two months go by and I try to use it again but it won’t stay hot. I’ve tried using even the lowest heat setting and it won’t stay hot. I have very thin hair but can only get one or two sections done before the light starts blinking and it needs to heat up again. Of course I threw away the packaging so I can’t even return it.

If you are looking for good quality then keep strolling…. Ok so I’ve had this flat iron for about 4 years now so I feel well equipped to write an informative review. If u are looking for a flat iron that would get your hair bone straight then keep looking. This flat iron does not work well for curly, kinky or coily hair textures AT ALL. I am a naturalista with 4a hair and even if I blow out my hair really straight before flat ironing on the highest temperature ( the box says 350 degrees) I still don’t receive that bone straight look. Works well I purchased the Conair Dry ‘n Straight 2in hair straightener several years back as it was the only one I could find that had a wide ironing plate. I have very thick hair with a slight wave (cow-lick kind of thing) and the 1in irons took so much time to make even a dent in my mane.
