Works for thick curly hair I absolutely love this brush! I have thick wavy hair and it doesnât take much to break a brush. The bristles are sturdy but soft enough to comb through a mess of hair. I use this on wet and dry hair and havenât experienced any breakage and my hair actually feels softer since I started using this brush. The addition of boar bristles is an excellent combination. The vents allow you to use this as a drying brush also. The bristles donât melt under the heat. The curve makes it easier to use.
Speeds Up the Dry time Sometimes I want just a little lift and under turn, and this brush helps do exactly that. The bristles feel nice on my scalp and the slight curve of the brush helps to dry my hair an encourage the ends to turn under slightly. It doesn’t get too hot next the the blow dryer and the handle is comfortable to hold.
Pins too soft, NOT for thick hair I have long hair with a mix of thin, medium, and thick hair strands that is overall pretty dense. The plastic pins are way too soft/bendy and do not brush through my wet hair very well. And because of how thin and bendy the plastic pins are, I’m concerned about their durability combined with blow dryer use. The bristles do a decent job of smoothing and defrizzing, but again in order to use this effectively I’d have to dry my hair first which rather defeats the whole purpose.I ended…
