Great starter set!! I’ve had these for a few weeks now and I think that they are great brushes for the price!! The smell didn’t bother me once I took them out of the packaging and sprayed brush cleaner on them. There is super minor shedding from my big flat Kabuki, but it’s not a deal breaker. The eye shadow ones are awesome! I use them all. I wish there was an inbtween size, for contouring, but all in all I recommend!

Weak glue – sheds! Loved these brushes for the first 2 months, but I noticed that the glue is pretty weak and several of the brushes are starting to shed. I take good care of my makeup brushes and have only washed this set a few times with mild cleaner and dried facing down.
