don’t recommend for long thick hair Very lightweight and the bristles are too soft for brushing through long hair, only gets the top hairs but not the hairs underneath, don’t recommend for long thick hair. Doesn’t tear the hair though, so give it good marks for that.
Kind to sensitive scalps I have a hairbrush that I’ve used for many years that finally gave out. Every brush I tried was just too stiff — hurt my head. This brush is firm enough to brush the hair but gentle enough not to gouge my scalp. The handle is solid and the brush has a nice “weight” to it. So far I haven’t had any bristle loss (a frequent complaint of many of the brushes sold here). Highly recommended.
kind to hair purchased due to aging fragile hair….the stiff brushes I used previously have caused excessive hair breakage.
