Not the Same This doesn’t smell like the original scent that I remember. I don’t use aftershave that often but wanted to try a familiar one from my childhood memory bank. I remember the punch in the nostrils we got after the Old Man got done with shaving, this doesn’t do that anymore I’m afraid. The smell is ok but not what I think of when I think of Old Spice. I’m sure there’s some big wig who decided to save a few pennies and change the formula by using cheaper materials.

It has such a watered down diluted fragrance compared to that of 15-30 yrs ago that there are better products. I bought some unopened bottles of the original Old Spice cologne and aftershave (vintage 1993) off ebay.

A pitiful and failed attempt at the old product. As noted in various reviews, this product is not what I expected. I’ve been using Old Spice for decades, and this newest purchase smells NOTHING like the old product, not even a little bit. I’ll probably toss it and turn to a new fragrance. Obviously, this is not the fault of Amazon, but of Proctor and Gamble who purchased the company some time ago. I would strongly advise former users of Old Spice not to buy this product.Doug Link
