The steps when your first use.
1. Check and confirm the item was not damaged in shipping.
2. Prepare water-solubility essential oil and tap water.
3. Add 40mL water and 1-3 drops oil into the water tank, twist to lock tightly.
4. Plug it into your car socket, start your car(to ensure enough strong power output).
5. Touch to start, add a drop of water into top steam outlet can activate the diffuser fater.
6. Enjoy…… please remember the diffuser will auto shut-off after one hour or water used up.
How to do if the diffuser bloked by your oil then stop.
1. Add several drops water into top steam then test again with No oil.
2. Wash filter sponge wick, top steam outlet, bottom water entrance, then test again with No oil.
3. Try to test it in another car, maybe the power output there is stronger.
4. Replace a filter sponge wick, then test again with No oil.

Great product! Exceeded my expectations with regard to the design and quality. As you can see in the photo, the plug in my car is tucked under the front console area. This diffuser fits perfectly and the arm adjusts easily. And, it has two USB ports if you need. Have to admit I enjoyed my commute a little more having some essential oils going!
