Flimsy bristles It’s a good brush. I bought it to use in the shower. Other brushes get moldy-figures this would be perfect. And it is–even if you don’t have a lot of hair. The bristles are a little too flimsy for me. I have to brush my hair in small sections when I use this brush so it takes quite a while. Because the bristles are so flimsy, if I just try to brush normally, the bristles collapse instead of actually going through my hair. Concept is great–execution not awesome for thick hair 🙂
Too tough compared to original I bought this with the original Wet Brush model. I was very apprehensive of both. Having coarse, afro textured hair, the amount of bristles frightened me. I shed A LOT in on my own, but I always lose a ton of hair when detangling, so I have to be very picky about my detangling tools. I actually held out a lot more hope for this brush than the original, but I was totally wrong. The original is a freaking gift from heaven that I’m sooooo upset I JUST discovered when naturals have been…
Is it just me? Maybe it’s just me but I cannot be the only one that has had their hair easily get stuck in the grooves. I’ve used a Wet Brush for years now. This does detangle well but I have to be extremely careful or my hair gets twisted in the side slots. I would probably not purchase this particular model again but I’ll definitely stick with the Wetbrush as a company. I love their other ones. The picture was my attempt at smoothing out a messy ponytail…
