The photo of the product looked exactly like the previous Yardley English Lavender container I used Case of bate and switch. The photo of the product looked exactly like the previous Yardley English Lavender container I used. This product came in a different container, much taller than the previous one (doesn’t fit in cabinet). I had seen this taller one from other vendors and the negative comments kept me shop for a version to replace the one I liked. But most of all, the scent is very strong and does not resemble lavender at all!!
Only the original, classic lavender is worth buying. NOT THE NEW SCENT! As long as you can still get the “old” classic scent, this stuff is WONDERFUL! I use it as a deoderant as well as a first layer scent. It’s a clean, fresh scent and I get compliments on it. It’s also a subtle scent. However, they have changed their formula to an awful, cheap smelling scent, so I won’t buy the “new” scent. I was able to get the original this time, but for how long will that be true? PLEASE RE-ISSUE THE CLASSIC LAVENDER YOU’RE SO WELL KNOWN FOR, YARDLEY!
NOT the same as it used to be. Mom, Grandma and I have all used this brand for years. They changed the lavender scent! I was SO disappointed when receiving this. I’ve used this brand for years but now it smells all wrong. They must have changed to a different cheaper oil. REALLY don’t like the way this one smells. I did have some left from an earlier purchase, same brand, same everything but NOT AT ALL the same scent.Very disappointed
