We bought the first set to clip our springer spaniel(lots of hair) for a few years. After that they lasted me another 11yrs of cutting my own hair with them. I dropped them on the garage floor about 6 yrs into owning them and cracked the casing. GREAT CLIPPER FOR TIDY UP GROMING I got this clipper primarily to tidy up the hair between the toes on my Corgis. I was a bit wary about it because of the low cost. As being a professional groomer many years ago, I was used to paying way more for a pair of clippers. I went with it, though, as I know Andis is a good name. I was pleasantly surprised!
