Nano Titanium is an exceptional conductor of heat and maintains stability in ultra-high temperatures. Negative ions are emitted for faster straightening and locking hair’s own natural moisture. The extra-long 5-inch plates reach up to 450°F and allow for wider sections of hair to be straightened, boosting speed and effectiveness while eliminating hand fatigue and increasing styling flexibility.

The ultra-thin profile of these high-tech irons makes them exceptionally lightweight and easy to use, with housing made of Ryton to resist high heat.

I have super thick hair so I have to run it through … I purchased this flat iron in October of 2013 and I STILL USE IT TO THIS DAY!! It is starting to show a little wear but definitely to be expected after three years of regular use (average three times a week). Plates heat up very quickly and, depending on your hair type, may only require a single pass. I have super thick hair so I have to run it through a couple of times. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it can be a bit pricey.

What you see is not always what you get! My problem is not with BaByliss, I think they are great irons. My problem is with whoever takes responsibility of selling this item here. Background on this is I am a Hair salon owner for over 35 years. I want my clients to use good tools so they don’t fry their hair. As I have said I have been happy with BaByliss for years. My distributor charges me a fortune for their irons. So for last few years I have been sending my clients to eBay to get it at a fair price I thought. Only to find that…

1 1/2 in is the best !!!! So I went back and forth and back and forth about buying this flat iron because it was so expensive plus some reviews said it could be fake. I am so GLAD I invested in this! I am mixed with black and el salvadorian and have very very curly hair.. I’ll say 3c/4a curls.
