Very soft bristles.. great if you happen to have a thin patchy beard quality is good.. but the brush is WAY too soft to use as a beard brush.. hair brush yes.. but the beard not so much.. well I guess if you have a beard that is thin and patchy it would work. but thick face fuzz its a non starter, Bristles are not thick enough to get all the way through the fur 🙂
Great for sensitive skin, but not a performer for normal to coarse beard hair The quality of the brush and the comb are top notch, the presentation and packaging is wonderful, even somewhat extravagant (The “Carrying Bag” is not something I would ever use but is a nice packaging touch).Unfortunately as some others have also commented – the brush is too soft to penetrate anything but the thinnest of facial hair. I keep my beard short, about a 4 clipper size (shown in pic), and the brush cannot penetrate my beard to the skin, especially when it is wet…
Nice set but misleading… I got this set for my husband. It is a really good quality set. He loves the boar hair brush. It makes his beard softer and straighter. It appears to be genuine boars hair. The wood and bristles are a nice quality. There has been some shedding of the boar brush but it’s not that big of a deal. The product is misleading in advertising the comb as a two sided.
