Only the trimmer is useful Only the trimmer is useful. I like the mini trimmer for touch ups, but that’s pretty much all. The close shave part is completely useless. I see the hair, go over it a million times, finally it shaves it.Plus the metal top tore somehow, not dropped or anything. I didn’t think my face was that chiseled to break the damn shaver, but fine.

Decent cheap shaver but not a very good trimmer Does not shave as close as a blade, but OK for travel or when out of blades 🙂 The trimmer does not do as good a job as the Wahl trimmer that I bought this to replace. In particular, you’ll never do any sort of tight spaces with this thing, such as between your lower lip and chin for a goatee. In short, its a decent shaver for cheap, but you won’t be happy with it as your only trimmer. I wound up continuing to use my aging Wahl trimmer for the tight spaces.IDK whether a $200 unit…

This one is a keeper. This is the best Braun shaver that I have owned, and I’ve had at least 3 of them. It feels solid. It’s relatively quiet, and it does the job it’s supposed to do. I find that it gives a closer shave when used wet, but using shaving cream with an electric shaver is just too messy for me. The dry shave is good enough to skip all the lathering up and cleanup. Actually cleanup is simple with this shaver. Just make sure it is disconnected from the charger, and run hot water through the foil…
