Shaver is great for quick “brushup” Shaver is great for quick “brushup”, I have found (at least for me), it has a bit of trouble with certain spots on face like tough under the chin areas to get completely clean. No electric I believe, will ever replace perfect blade smoothness, don’t look for that, but this is a very good runner up to that kind of blade smooth.
Frighteningly Good at Cutting Facial Hair I thought this was going to be an insane waste of money but I could not have been more wrong. I’ve used every different type of razor I know (Single blade disposables, Multi-blade disposables, cheap ones with replacement multi-blade heads, rotary shavers from Gillette) and always had a hard time shaving (often resulting in razor burn and cuts).
Very expensive, but a great shaver I have used just about every shaver on the market, and this is the best of them. My beard type makes rotary shavers useless to me, which is a shame because they are so much quieter than linear shavers. This new series 9 Braun is noticeably quieter than the series 8 shavers were. For that alone it is worth the money to me. I don’t really think the new shaver head is any better than the old series 8 head though.
