Definitely Worth the Investment for My Family I bought these in July after my son’s last haircut. I’d nicked him the cut previous and he kept squirming and fidgeting, worrying that I’d knick him again. Didn’t need to use them until today but they were GREAT! The only “complaints” I have about it is that my hands got tired much more quickly than they do otherwise (the guards aren’t heavy but they do add to the weight of the scissors) and that they don’t come with the #10 and #11 guards that cut (and feather) the hair over the ears…
Best product for sensory sensitivity! We have an 8 year old autistic grandson…His “triggers” are sounds (we have to keep volume on TV/radio/ringtones down very low), vibration, being confined…needless to say getting a haircut was so traumatic that it was a battle we did not often choose. Since he insists on wearing a knit “beanie” year-round we were okay with the longer hair…we would always ask when one of us were getting a haircut and there would be some interest …but we could not get more than one snip in…
