Looks Smaller Than It Really Is I like it, but I did think it was smaller, from the picture. It heats up nice and leaves great waves, but I thought it was the width of a flat iron, but it’s about as wide as two 3/4″ curling irons next to one another. Once my hair gets a bit longer, this will be perfect!

basically a large crimping iron each barrel is 5/8″ — smaller than the typical wave iron. so it’s compact, but makes artificial looking waves, like a giant crimping iron.it does seem to get hot enough and is easy to use. but unless you are going for an 80’s look, I’d skip this one. I’m bummed, I can’t find an iron that has this shape (like a flat iron) with larger barrels.

Good wave iron. This was a gift for my 8 year old daughter. Plus side: The iron heats up very well. It is the perfect size being just a bit larger than an average sized flat iron. It’s light and easy to hold and maneuver. The tabs at the end stay cool so you don’t burn yourself. The wave seemed to hold very well. Down side: The wave is small – though not like a crimping iron small. It’s like the barrels of the iron aren’t deep enough. This gives a look like a tight braid was let loose. It’s not the beachy wave…
