Longevity was there but lots of faults. I have been using this Conair trimmer for many years, I can’t say how many exactly but more than 5. Yesterday it finally gave up the ghost, the wire shorted where it goes into the body. The first several years it was used for trimming my beard in the winter, so light duty. About two years ago I started cutting my own hair. Below are some observations and experiences.

Christian Hill says:

More Annoying Than It Should Have Been Bought this to replace another Conair trimmer I had for about 5 years. That one had about 10 numbered clip guards and an on/off switch and was perfect. The guards seemed to match what my barber uses, (a size number 2 is a size number 2). I say all this because my first “perfect” Conair experience colors my experience with this product. As others have noted here, it does not have a battery and it is not wireless. Ok, not the end of the world I suppose, my last one wasn’t…

Julia and Jonathan says:

Solid and Reliable Trimmer/Clipper (with a super-cheap storage bag) I had an earlier model of this trimmer which worked reliably for years until a few weeks ago when, traveling abroad, I stuck the plug in a 250v socket only to hear its death cry. My fault for sure. I liked them so much I immediately reordered without thought.
