I really like this powder box. I like that the lid is not tight. A bit loose but has a lip that overlaps the glass so it cannot fall off. Very pretty. I was expecting the glass to be clear but it is lightly cloudy. However it really does look nice.
Perfect powder glass jar I have been on the look out for a glass and metal powder jar for years. The jar looks so lovely on my vanity shelf. It holds my baby powder and lavender body powder perfectly with a 4 inch powder puff. The lid does not fit too tightly but rests securely over the jar. I do not have to worry about struggling with lid and spilling powder everywhere.My granddaughters relish the opportunity to do a powder puff on their sisters after a bubble bath at my house. Not as nice as the photo – OVERPRICED! not as pictured! The lid will not have the pretty patina shown and the edge of the metal lid is not rolled like in the photo it just comes straight down and hangs farther down the sides of the glass jar. The lid is also a very poor fit for the jar-very loose. The jar is not cut glass either-it is molded sugar glass which is a brittle glass. This is something you might find in a dollar store. The only only plus i could find is that it was a lovely size and if you get it the 4 inch puff fits…
