It is a very inexpensive blade and yet gives a very close shave. I happen to use an adjustable Qshave razor usually set on 4.5 or 5 and get a really close shave without any nicks at all. I use both proraso and Arco shaving soaps as well as some others, and get a super close, clean shave.
