Great for getting to know how your DE razor performs with various blades. Great kit for allowing me to match my: Merkur Long Handled Safety Razor to a razor blade. I found the Astra to be the best companion for this Merkur. I am not after a super close shave, My aim is for an irritation free shave. That safety razor offers an irritation free shave with any of these razors, however the Astra made it so easy and comfortable that I didn’t even have to try. The swords on the other hand took a little more attention though they offered a closer and still comfortable…
Good variety without an overwhelming amount of razors BLUF: If you’re loking to find your go to blade, this is a good place to start.I liked this because it came with a good variety of big name blades but without a ton of them. Also a good price with free shipping.You may say 3 blades each? That’s not enough.The way I see it, if you hate the blades, which I’ve hated a few, you’re not stuck with a ton of extras.Also you have enough of each brand to determine consistency within the brand.So…
