Cleaning your Makeup Brushes Unclean makeup brushes transfer old makeup germs and bacteria to your skin each time you use them. Ideally you should wash them once a week and here’s the best way how: Run the bristles of makeup brush under warm running water. Careful not to get the ferrules and handles wet. Apply a drop of gentle shampoo or clarifying cleanser to bristles and work into a light lather. Rinse bristles thoroughly under warm running water. Continue rinsing until water runs clear. Use a cloth to absorb excess water and reshape the bristles Lay your makeup brushes flat or “handles up†to air dry

It doesn’t have much flexibility. I find the brush part of it for the face to be confined. It feels fine, but I feel like my blush goes on a little too straight along the cheekbone and doesn’t allow for any flexibility, should you want to add a little color to your forehead.Nothing wrong with it and I’ll continue to use it, but I wouldn’t buy it again for this purpose.
Makes blush application more difficult than it needs to be This is labelled as a blush brush, but it’s so dense and small I think it makes applying blush more difficult than it needs to be. It picks up a lot of color and plops it all on in one concentrated spot as soon as you touch your face. I think you are much better served by a larger, fluffier brush, or a brush with less densely packed bristles towards the end so it deposits less color at a time.
Eco Tools powder brush For the price of these brushes, they feel like a higher end quality! I love all of Eco Tools products. They last longer than the higher end brushes Iâve bought and are just as good (not to mention a lot cheaper!). They also make really good BB sponges that I use and are better that the original B.B. IMO. Great product, even better price, what more can a gal ask for? I havenât found a product of theirs that I donât like yet!
