Cleaning your Makeup Brushes Unclean makeup brushes transfer old makeup, germs, and bacteria to your skin each time you use them. Ideally, you should wash them once a week, and here’s the best way how: Run the bristles of makeup brush under warm running water. Careful not to get the ferrules and handles wet. Apply a drop of gentle shampoo or clarifying cleanser to bristles and work into a light lather. Rinse bristles thoroughly under warm, running water. Continue rinsing until water runs clear. Use a cloth to absorb excess water and reshape the bristles Lay your makeup brushes flat or “handles up” to air dry

Great quality but not stiff enough. I love EcoTools brushes. They are very durable. I have had several different ones and they have yet to have issues with the glue decaying. That said, this one, in particular, isn’t as stiff as what I wanted. So, this is great if you’re desiring a very light deposit of loose powder. I also have their bronzer brush and blush brush and like them better. I wash my brushes every week and they hold up great.

Good No complaints. I have only used it for bronzer/powders. I have not tried a liquid with it.In the summer, I add a lot of matte bronzer to help my BB cream match my sunless tanner. And this does a good job of not smearing any of the products.

not the EcoTools I know……. I have always used EcoTools brushes. I bought the powder brush and blush brush from Amazon this time. They are very very cheap feeling. The bristles are weak, thin and way too “flexible” feeling. The handles say “EcoTools” but it’s stamped on the handle instead of it being embossed. Even the pouch it came in is different and seems cheaper. If the brushes themselves were the same great quality I’m used to from EcoTools, I certainly wouldn’t mind the short cuts in packaging but they’re useless to…
