Please clean it with warm water and detergent at least once a week.

I love this diffuser I have another diffuser that I really did not like. Also I did not like the fact that the mist goes straight up in the air as most diffusers do. I started looking around and came across these diffusers. I love them which makes me a happy camper. These diffusers have where the mist goes outward into the room and this makes a big difference especially if you have breathing or sinus problems. Also I love the lights. After the holidays I plan on buying another pair.
