Attention:
1. Before using the steamer for the first time, please let it run with a full tank of water for removing a bit of smells from manufacturing.
2. When adding water, please gently pull out the water tank vertically from the back of the steamer, and then twist off the round lid at the bottom of the tank to fill water.
3. The distance between the steamer and face should be 7-8″ inches (20cm) when steaming. A full tank of water can be steamed for about 8-10 minutes.

Absolutley a great rod for the price Absolutley a great rod for the price. I ordered a 9′ 4 piece 5wt rod. It is a little stiffer than I was looking for, but it is a 5wt. Casting with this rod is a dream, extremly accurate and I was able to reach the other side of the stream with ease where I normally had to struggle with my other 5wt 9 footer. So far so good, only had it out for one trip but I caught at least 20 decent trout. No 5 pounders to really put it to the test, but it held up great for the 2 and 3 pounders I did…
I should’nt have sent it back.. This is a nice rod. After I ordered and received this rod, I realized it was not quite what I was looking for, so I did, unfortunately, send it back. I am an avid fly fisherman and already own 6 or 7 fly rods. I was, however, impressed by the precision workmanship and quality of this rod. The ferrules looked to be of the highest quality, along with a very nice, well color matched, reel seat that included 2 locking reel nuts to lock and secure the reel tightly to the rod. Even my Sage 5 wt. does…
Really nice rod! This is an absolutely great fly rod for the money. I have two Sage rods and an expensive LL Bean rod and this Max Catch is easier to cast and reaches greater distances. I’m not an expert on fly rod construction but this rod seems extremely well made. My sage rod factory tip replacement cost me twice what this rod cost and that was 20 years ago. There is more bs in fly fishing than in farming and this rod is a good example of that. I’m going river raft fishing this summer and this is the rod…
