So smooth! I have tried alot of hair straighter and im very picky about what one I use. I plugged this one in and it heated up in seconds! It is touch screen and shows you the temp as it heats up. After the temp is set to what you want it locks do when you are using it it can not change which is a good feature. I also use my straighters to curl.
