Too small!! Very small! The zig-zags are so tiny that hair just looks poofy, not crimped. The actual crimper is very tiny as well. There is no way to hold it down to crimp without burning your hand either.

In the title is says this is a crimper, … In the title is says this is a crimper, in the description it says this is a crimper. On the box when it arrived to my home it says it is a straitener. Hm, not what I ordered.. but why not give it a try anyway? It has the smallest bars in it, so no it does not work very well as a crimper. And just to try, it also does not work very well as a straitner. There is also absolutely no way of holding it without getting your hands burnt. Disappointing buy.

Erica non-fiction junkie says:

if you use an oven mitt to pick it up it works just fine. Heats up fast and will crimp your hair…however I have to wear an oven mitt to use this thing. The entire crimper – even the handle gets scalding hot. First time I used it I burnt my fingers just by picking it up. So, if you use an oven mitt to pick it up it works just fine.
