Was good for the first few months Iâve had this iron for a lil under a year. It was all fine and working great until just recently right before the year mark. The heat number would not stay on. It would flash and go off. I could feel it heat up though so I put it on the low heat setting (or what I thought was low heat setting) because I never use the high heat. The two plates touch completely without any gaps and the extra length of the plates is a nice touch. It heats up quickly and has ***Update*** 2/2/18 – I’ve had this flat iron for just over a year now and today it died. Over the past week I noticed that it wasn’t maintaining heat while I was doing my hair. It would go back and forth between hot and lukewarm the entire time it was turned on.
