Short cord but stunning blow dryer I’m keeping only because it is the most beautiful hairdryer I’ve ever seen! The heat won’t burn you like a professional blow dryer, which I like (I have both). The dials are perfectly placed for switching on/off during drying. The only draw back is that the cord is WAY TOO SHORT at 6′. My hair straightener has an 8 1/2′ cord and my professional blow dryer has an 8′ cord. Why this cord is so short is beyond me – I pulled the plug out of the wall twice during drying. About the heat of this dryer I have seen a lot of people reviewing this dryer and saying that it doesn’t get hot. It does get hot but the thing to know is that the “cold shot” button is not a “press and hold” for cool air button. If you press the cold shot button and let go it stays cold until you press and release it again.
