Bright lights make all the imperfections brighter Love it love it love it bright and perfect to move around from bathroom to desk to sofa. BTW these are the places i do my make up. so for me it is great and i have a bright light

Works great! This mirror is the perfect traveling companion. The lights are nice and bright and enables me to see how to put on eye or lip liner in complete dark! Nice little mirror, but LEDs are not effective lighting It’s a nice little mirror for the price. The LED lights are a nice touch, but don’t expect them to completely illuminate your face in the dark. The lights are very subtle, and they barely help in low lit rooms. Since using this mirror a few times for makeup application, I probably would have bought a different mirror with brighter lights in hindsight. I do like that the mirror is free-standing. Also note the dimensions because I expected it to be larger than it actually was.
