It’s gentle so you don’t feel like you’re shredding your feet apart like with the cheese grater looking one. Something about the material on this kind of foot file “works into” the callus better–I have another one similar to this of another brand–it cost 3x this one with a flimsy handle and is smaller–this one works the same & has a nice sturdy handle for an affordable price.

Whoa – This Thing is Awesome! I am soooo pleased with this foot file. I have used the Dr. Scholl’s foot file for years (they wear out and were 6-7 bucks a pop), but they are no longer available, so a-hunting I did go. And found the PediPerl Callus Remover Foot File.
