Bad Production Run? I have used Merkur (Solingen, Germany) and Derby Extra (Turkey) with my Edwin Jagger Razor. I prefer the Merkurs, but both have done a fine job. I wanted to try these Personna blades because they are made in the US. The blades I received were dull, grabbed and pulled whiskers, and left my face raw. My Favorite Blade The more you read reviews about blades, the more confused you are likely to become. The same blade that is praised by some is scorned by others. Finding the right blade comes down to trial and error.
As good as the expensive ones, cheaper packaging but doesn’t matter In my search for the perfect shave I bought these along with some more expensive ones (feather). These seem to work just as well as the more expensive ones and with 100 in a pack I can have a clean new razor every time I shave and it doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg.
