Battery will not recharge after only 4 months. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!!! Piece of JUNK! Purchased on 7/29/2015. Arrived 8/03/15. Used only 4 times to trim up my beard. Went through NO SHAVE November without using it. Time to clean up the beard and the unit will not run as of 12/02/15 – battery completely dead. Will not take a charge. Tried repeated attempts to recharge with no luck. Several reviews pointed out this issue but I took a chance and was burned by poor quality from Phillips Norelco. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Great product. Replacement foil BG2000 will fit this. Received one of these last Christmas and have been very happy with it these past ten months. If you’re looking for a replacement foil, the BG2000 replacement foil is the one. It isn’t listed anywhere as being compatible with this model but fits and works just great. Amazon even has Subscribe and Save available for it (they recommend changing the foil at least every 12 months, mine wore out in 9, so maybe twice a year is better?). Has all the cool attachments! I now am able to look less like a rampaging viking and more like a civilized viking. This is both good and bad depending on when I set sail.
