It comes with a cable but if you lose it, most other cables will do as well. This solves the problem of having to take an extra charger just for the beard trimmer when you are traveling around. The fact that this runs on a standard USB charging cord is awesome, especially since we had installed a USB outlet in the bathroom.It has a safety button that you need to push down in the middle of the main button, which makes it so you can slide the switch on and off.
