….or just make your own cleaning solution and refill it yourself The Norelco cleaning system does what it says, and at about $5.50 per cartridge, each of which lasts about 30 or 40 cleanings, it’s not very expensive to use. But if you don’t like the idea of buying plastic stuff and want to save a little money, you can do what I do. After my first cartridge was done, I simply poured out the solution, washed it out under the faucet, and refilled it myself.
