Wrong battery Although the description says lithium ion battery, documentation that was included with the unit says it has a nimh battery. This is a less expensive and slower charging battery then what was advertised.
No Contest After my last trimmer died, I shopped around for a while before I settled on this trimmer as a replacement. I had a few qualifications as I shopped that included (1) some sort of battery indicator so I would know when it’s low and when it’s done charging, (2) I wanted it to be reasonably priced (preferably under $40), and (3) I wanted all of the cutting parts on the main trimmer to be metal. This trimmer was the only one that met my qualifications.
Works great for 9 months… Like others have mentioned, this trimmer works great for the first 6-9 months but after that the trimmer head starts to vibrate loose. At this point (1 year after buying it) I have to tape the head on to keep it from vibrating to a 30 degree angle and making all kinds of noise. My old trimmer ran for years without issue until the battery gave out and it was half the cost. I’d recommend looking for a different model or brand.
