Good, solid. Good quality, heavy duty, comes in a nice case. I have thick hair (except for the dang thin spot right in front!) and often feel too warm. Using these to thin my hair lets me wear it a little longer without feeling like I’m walking around with a big cat on my head.

Great cut, bad finger holes The only thing that would improve these scissors is bigger finger holes. I have short small fingers and even my fingers get stuck.Update: 4/3/2016. Removed finger guards and they are roomier, have not used them without guards to verify comfort.

Finger hole size is fine if you know what you are doing These are real haircutting scissors. These are REAL haircutting scissors. Why do I repeat myself? Well I have to because many reviews for this product are by (sorry) people who do not know what REAL haircutting scissors are. Please, before you give these scissors a bad review because the thumb hole is not huge like paper cutting scissors, take some time and review how real cosmetologists use scissors.
