This is not a shaver I have never had such an experience! Remington, this is a terrible product. I do take some accountability for paying such a low price and expecting a quality shaver. But, really, Remington? It looks like an unfriendly cat scratched off my skin. There are long irritated and painful scratches up and down my leg due to my first usage. It’s going back and I’m requesting that Remington remove it from their product list.
Works fine – but they need to offer replacement foils at a reasonable price To start with, this razor works just fine. But finally, as they all finally do, the foil deteriorated and broke – as evidenced by a long bleeding leg scratch. Very weirdly, the cheapest replacement foil I could find would run around $22. So I ordered a whole new shaver (identical model) from Amazon for about $15. Strange. At this rate, I’ll eventually have a closet full of perfectly good shavers with worn out heads.
FRAUD Alert! This product ad is misleading, actually fraudulent. It is advertised as a WDF-4820, but it is NOT…it is model WDF-4821. What’s the difference? The genuine WDF-4820 has a power cord that plugs into a holding base, then you simply sit the shaver vertically in the base! WDF-4821 has NO base! Just a power cord that plugs directly into the shaver. This causes 2 problems: 1=You have to pull & push the power cord in & out of shaver for each use…2=You have to lay the shaver on the counter…no nice…
