Smooth Shave from the Start I’ve bounced around over the years using multiple brands and I have used Schick in the past. Was using a well known competitor’s blades until I saw their latest ad campaign that was oddly not about shaving at all. Don’t need a lecture to go along with my shave, thanks. Switching back to Schick reminded me that one of the things I didn’t like about the competitor’s blades was the break in shave required in order to get a smooth shave. Bought because Gillette offended me, Glad I switched, better shave I like the shave I get from this better than my comparable Gillette shaver. Thanks Gillette, I would have never switched if it weren’t for you offensive commercial. Now I know what I was missing for 35 years, a better shave!
Great razor! After using Gillette razors for most of my adult life (I’m nearly 70), I recently switched to Schick when Gillette decided to lecture us all about masculine toxicity. I must say that my new Schick razor is the best I have ever used, bar none. A Gillette cartridge used to last me about one week. The new Schick cartridge has lasted three full weeks and is just now ready to change out. I’ve gotten great shaves throughout the three week period to boot. I’ll never go back. Highly recommended!
