Not for me, not recommended My mustache is fairly unruly. Nothing crazy. This wax doesnât hold AT ALL. And it stays in for like 2 1/2 hours. My least favorite of the whole line up. I wouldnât buy this again, itâs basically just the beard balm with less moisture, and it doesnât smell that good. Iâve started using the hair styling clay, but it chaps my ass because it isnât the same scent. Better hold than ANY “Heavy Duty Balm” This is a great Beard Balm or (wax as they call it). I have used many balms including some high priced “styling Balms”. This gives more hold than any “Heavy Duty” balm. What I like is in the can it is hard like mustache wax. Kinda hard to scrap out, I just use a tool. I have maybe a 2″ beard. Ehh… This is the first wax I’ve ever bought him. He only uses it when we go out, not on a daily basis. I could see a slight difference when he used the wax, but, nothing extreme. So, I’d say this has a light to medium hold. The thing that I don’t like is the scent; I can’t really think of anything to compare it to, but, I guess I’d put it in the carmex lip balm, scentless candle, category.
