Shaver works well, not sure about being waterproof though.. I just used this shaver to trim my hair on the sides of my head (for in between haircuts). Only had to charge it once so far. As far as being ‘waterproof’, I don’t think so. The charging port on the bottom clearly has no protection against water going in. It doesn’t effect me because I didn’t plan on using it in the shower, but if you need to, I wouldn’t do it. Very versatile, truly portable and works perfectly , easy to change attachments and professional apperance. This is hands down the best trimmer I’ve ever bought.
