Good and bad This is my second one of these. The battery just runs out and I have changed it a few times and thought that a new one would be great. The new one however is not as good as the original. The magnifying are does not stay in place and flops down no matter what you do with it. Both I have found somewhat awkward in that actually seeing where you are clipping is difficult for the toes as the rim of the magnifier gets in the way. Takes some getting used to but an improvement over the traditional clipper I decided to try these because I don’t see close up as well as I used to and find using traditional clippers more difficult now. If you can get the magnifying glass positioned just right, this product does make clipping fingernails easier, however it is too big for fingers on small hands. Also you must turn your hand to the side to see properly through the magnifying glass. WARNING! These USED TO BE GREAT for Thick Toenails & Fabulous Price! I have to revise the review I left below. These used to be great clippers for thick nails, I had one and used it all the time. However, after buying another one I found that the design of these has changed. The opening is no longer as wide as it used to be and the overall clipper is much more cheaply manufactured. I cannot even use this clipper now and have to find another brand or type. As this thing is now, I cannot recommend it to anyone.
