Warm it up!
To get a truly fog-free reflection with your Shave Well mirror, hold it under the shower stream for a few seconds to “warm it up” right before you shave.

What is fog and why does it happen?
Fog is simply condensation. Shower water is much warmer than the air temperature of most homes. Your warm shower heats the air and it becomes saturated. This warm moist air becomes fog or condensation which collects on all cooler surfaces – like mirrors.

In the few seconds you hold your mirror under the shower spray the temperature of the moist air and the mirror equalize to create a long lasting, truly fog free image for the duration of your shower. No more temperature difference – no more fog.

Suction cups don’t suck!
Since your Shave Well Mirror is removable from the wall mounted hook it is very easy to clean for a clear reflection each time you use it.

As Goldilocks said it’s just right.
The Shave Well Mirror measures 6″ tall, 4″ wide and is 1/8″ thick. The base of the adhesive hook (the part that sticks to the wall) is 1″ x 1 1/2″

Met my expectations Happy with my purchase. The mirror does fog up, but as the directions on the back advise to put the mirror in the shower stream to warm it up, after that the mirror is fog free. The size is good while still being small enough to travel with. I attached the hook on the back shower wall to minimize any future mold growth (not the products fault) and just take the mirror off when I am using it. The mirror is lite to hold and seems that it would survive a fall or being dropped without issues.

Best I’ve found I’ve been shaving in the shower for decades, and have tried every variety of mirror setup. I used cheap glass mirrors for years, but switched to Shave Well plastic mirrors out of fear for the inevitable disaster of an accident that leaves shattered glass all over the shower floor. Shave Well’s preheating trick works well (on glass mirrors too), but my principal problem is the accumulation of surface scum (presumably from water mineral content) that eventually clouds and beads water on the…

Science behind the mirror makes it fogless Ok so … at first I wasn’t too thrilled with the mirror and actually wrote a review here reflecting my dissatisfaction. But within about an hour, I received a nicely worded email from the manufacturer offering insight to exactly how the technology in the mirrors construction, makes it truly fogless. We had it positioned in the shower too high on the wall (have kids so … glass and water + kids = not good).I’ve posted this info below but I gotta say …. any company that is that…
