What is fog and why does it happen?
Fog is simply condensation. Shower water is much warmer than the air temperature of most homes. Your warm shower heats the air and it becomes saturated. This warm moist air becomes fog or condensation which collects on all cooler surfaces – like mirrors.

Best mirror for shower. Great price, great mirror even better company. My last mirror met it’s fate to harsh cleaning agents and was ruined. Pea sized toothpaste drop to clean it. And always make sure to dry the mirror after use to keep it from getting water stains. Mirror should last you years. Last mirror I had lasted me two years. Probably longer if it wasn’t for someone using CLR and a green pad on it. But it wasn’t a huge loss and was easy to replace. Will always recommend this company to others as it has a solid…
the kind with the suction cup very much like the InterDesign-Forma-Power-Mirror-Clear for sale also on Amazon I used a different kind of fog-free mirror in the shower for years and years, the kind with the suction cup very much like the InterDesign-Forma-Power-Mirror-Clear for sale also on Amazon. It worked fairly well, but the image was only so-so (adequate for shaving) and every couple of months or so the suction cups would lose their grip on the wall and the whole thing would fall into the tub and I’d have to piece together my razor again and re-attach it.
Great concept but questionable product quality I have owned this mirror for approximately 6 months. I’m a stay at home dad so only shave occasionally. Twice a week at the most. So, it has seen some use but not extensive.
