It makes this fine texture, easily absorbed and a non-greasy lubricating massage medium. This white mineral oil has moisturizing characteristic and blends easily with the other cosmetic ingredients. It is also colorless, odorless, and tasteless. Because it is petroleum based, it is inexpensive also. White mineral oil helps prevent water from leaving the body through the skin and thus avoids premature aging. Because it is petroleum based it will protect against rancidity. *This is a bottle of 1 gallon massage oil. Each case comes with 1 gallon of unscented oil. GREAT oil! I love this massage oil. I am a massage therapist and I use this to mix with aromatherapy oils or use o it’s own. The glide is great and it absorbs nicely into the skin without styaing too greasy feeling or absorbing too fast. I will be re ordering when I’m out!
This oil does not work for massage therapy. It … This oil does not work for massage therapy. It has a greasy feel to it, but somehow it has no glide. When I try to effluarage my hands stick and skip on my clients skin. It is impossible to maintain any kind of flow with your massage using this oil.
Great price! When I received this massage oil, the first thing I noticed was it was NOT a full gallon, and that there were strange bubbles on top of the oil. However, I am open-minded, and for the price gave it a try. It is much lighter in color and texture than the rich, luxurious name-brand oil I have been using. But it does work!
