Works great! Perfect for any small trim job. Lasts a long time on one set of batteries. Works well in the shower (waterproof). This is our second one, we had the first one for almost 7 years before the blades got too dull.
LOUD. Trims okay without the spacer but with it on, not so much. I had high hopes for this. I wanted to use it to trim around my sons’ ears and necklines when I give them haircuts (they are 4-1/2 and 2 years old). It claimed to be relatively quiet when running. Well, it’s not. It’s VERY loud, especially for use around the ears. It trims pretty well without the adjustable spacer on, but with the spacer it’s pretty terrible. You have to go over and over the same spot to get all of the hairs. Wish I’d taken it out of the package sooner and been able to…
Not very powerful or efffective but it has its uses I have a classic beard that I keep clean around my neck and cheeks and I keep trimmed moderately short. I bought this thinking it would be a little more useful than it turned out to be. I tried using it to keep my beard length what I wanted but it’s not very powerful or efficient and the blades are not variable enough to get the length that I want. I do much better using a plug-in trimmer intended for cutting hair than this specialized tool.
