Buy it! First of all this is reasonably priced and an awesome all in one tool! It gets super hot pretty quick and it does a great job creating gorgeous waves! It comes in a cute carrying case if you’re traveling with the set. AND the company donates portions of their sales to women’s charities that benefit women all over the world. What’s not to like?
For the price, this item is very very good, but I outlined the pro’s and con’s Solid 3.5 to 4 star item for me and here’s why: I purchased this for the variety of sizes and types of curling wands/rods. I’m 48, have thin color treated hair and haven’t purchased new curling irons in years and years, and I like the “Clamp” type better than the newer types of wrap around style rods that my 17 year old uses all the time, as I HATE HATE HATE those pointy looking ends those no clamp rods leave, so I was looking for a combo that had both. In my opinion, the curlers and wands heat up pretty quickly…within 2 mnts ( I’ve had curlers that’ll take longer) The get very hot so a heat protecter spray/oil and heat resistant glove is highly suggested.
